Problem Does Not Disappoint Fans In Los Angeles

Problem kills the show at El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on The Separation Tour.

Compton native Problem makes his 5th stop in Los Angeles on The Separation Tour, which began on November 29 in Sacramento and is scheduled to hit seven cities in all. The show took place at El Rey Theater, a live music venue in the Miracle Mile area, located on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. The show started at 9pm, with openers TeeFli, Clyde Carson, and Bad Lucc and DJ sets by DJ Amen and DJ Carisma.

TeeFlii, best known for his hit single “This Dick,” did a great job preparing the crowd for Problem. But what the crowd was not ready for… was the additional acts Problem had planned for them hidden up his sleeve.

Problem gets on stage and the first guest appearance is Too Short, dropping some bay slaps for the crowd with “Burn Rubber.” This was just the beginning. Additional artists joining Problem on stage throughout the night included Game, Tank, Tyga, Eric Bellinger, Bad Lucc, and T.I. With each artist being able to perform a song of their own, it was like multiple shows combined into one. The crowd was not mad!

Songs like “Take Your Tights Off” seem to showcase Problem’s ratchet sounds and club bangers stereotype. So why not follow up and give the crowd some front row action? With a stool strategically placed in the middle of the stage, Problem chooses one lucky girl from the crowd to come up. As the crowd patiently anticipates what will happen next, out comes Tank, who was last seen singing the national anthem at the Floyd Mayweather fight earlier this year. He serenates her, dances on her, and then kisses her…. twice.

The biggest surprise to come on stage would have to be Atlanta rapper T.I. Let’s be real- who doesn’t love T.I.? Performing hits like “Top Back” and “What You Know About That” with Problem beside him, LA was definitely feeling the love last night.

Problem ends the show by bringing his parents on stage and taking a pic with the crowd for Instagram (@problem354). Casey Veggies, Terrace Martin, and Mistah F.A.B. were in the building as well.

Problem is the success story of an artist who has chosen the independent route. With his Diamond Lane Music Group, the show was definitely one for the books.

While the tour is in support of his latest mixtape, “The Separation,” Problem gave the crowd old and new, finishing off the night with hit single “Like Whaaat” featuring Bad Lucc.

In an exclusive conversation with Eric Bellinger, he states, “The separation tour has been incredible so far! LA showed us a lot of love… Problem brought out everyone from The Game, T.I., Tyga, Too Short & Tank just to name a few. I was just honored to be on stage with those guys!”

Eric is an R&B singer coming up on the scene. He killed the stage last night with “I Don’t Want Her,” his hit single featuring Problem. This song is featured on Power 106’s New At 2 mix. Look out for it in the charts in the near future!
