B-SHEL – TRUE MAGAZINE I GOT NEXT INTERVIEW

We are here with B-Shel, a very unique artist from the west coast around southern California that is set to make an impact on the music industry. We’ve learned that he’s caught the eye of a number of music industry officials with his music and movement.

What sets you apart from other aspiring artists?
I feel there are many things that set me apart from other artist. The number one thing is, throughout my lyrics I show a different side to a california rapper. Most people put all rappers from California in a box. As you had to be a blood or crip or you had to sound like Tupac, N.W.A, or Dr. Dre to be rapper from Cali. There is a different side to California, There are kids that hangout out the mall, play basketball, into fashion and not gang banging. I fee that side of California would be new & refreshing to the Rap/Hip Hop community.

What is the philosophy by which you live?
Prayer can only take you so far. At some point you have to create opportunities and work hard to achieve goals. Prayer is the icing on the cake.

Who are some artists that you would like to work with in the future?
Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, T.I, Drake, Omarion, Neyo, Chris Brown, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, Snoop

Tell us a little bit about your singles.
My singles have alot of energy and feeling. I enjoy making people feel good and that is how my music has been created and why i’ve been getting so many good responses. “While You Playin” is a club song that is more or less talking about grinding hard while everyone around me is playin. While you playin, i’m grinding. That is the message. It is a clever and fun song that many people can identify with. I also have a very special song called “LA Lights” that is a high energy feel good song and really allows the listeners mind to open up and see California and the city of LA. When the song drops, everyone will love it.

Tell us about the major feature you have placed on.
Well i have to keep that a secret. I promised I would. But when that song drops, It will be loved by the world.

Any last words for your fans and listeners?
I appreciate all the constant support from fans and is reason I continue to push myself to be better. Anybody having support, listening, commenting, offering a opinion or being engaged in my music is a humbling experience. I hope listeners enjoy the music
