1. Miss Jae Michelle you really worked a good name for yourself how is the journey so far?
My journey in this business has been amazing. I’ve learned so much about the business and about music and I’ve grown a lot as a person. I’ve been having a good time doing the things that I want to do and taking advantage of the opportunities and blessings that I’ve been given.
2. So you started showing off those curves when u was on the animated documentary on 50 Cent
which aired on HBO and was sold on DVD can you let us know how you got the gig and what was the experience like?
If I remember correctly I found the ad on Craig’s List. I sent my photos in, I got a call back, I went to the audition and I remember being nervous because at that point I was brand new in the game, on my own, and I hadn’t booked anything yet. They asked me would I dance and would I kiss a girl and that I would get paid extra. I didn’t want to say yes, but I said yes. I said yes because I wanted the part so bad and if I said no, I’d just be an extra and I didn’t go all that way to be an extra. We shot at a mansion in the hills, it lasted a few hours. When it was time to get in the Jacuzzi to dance with the girls and kiss the other girl I was so nervous. But when you watch the DVD it looks like I kissed her but I didn’t. That’s what you call good acting. I had a good time. When it came out on DVD I purchased one and later it started coming on TV and people I knew recognized me like oh, I saw you on HBO or was that you on that 50 cent thing. It felt good.
3. After the show your stocks as in guys trying to talk to you and work with you jumped up past
others that started around the same time, how did you stay sane and focused?
I’m a very grounded person. When I was kid my grandmother was a manicurist in Beverly Hills. I used to go with her sometimes to make house calls. She would do the wives nails of very famous actors and musicians. Being in those HUGE houses in Bel-air and seeing all the fancy cars, but at the end of the day I came home to Compton. My mom worked at the county building in LA she didn’t always have a lot of money. Somebody I’d come home from school and the lights would be off or the gas. My point is I saw both sides of life. Rich and Poor. That’s how I grew up. Seeing the rise and fall of people in life taught me that, everything you have or everything that’s given to you is a blessing and those blessings can be taken away. No matter how much success or fame or money or attention you get in your moment, know that your still a human being your not above God. Stay humble, stay kind, stay hungry and stay grateful.
4. From there you did some TV work, videos and on countless websites and magazines, what can
you say is the good and bad of doing those shoots and interviews?
The bad part about TV, Videos and Shoots is that is very time consuming. It takes HOURS and sometimes you have to do it over and over and over again, and that’s exhausting. Your energy has to stay up, you have to do it the exact same way you did it the first 3 times. The good thing about my job is that it’s fun. Not everyone gets to do it. You meet a lot of good, resourceful people. There’s always another opportunity on set. I get to do what I love.
5. Do you date guys that are in the industry?
I have. Not just in the music industry but in the Entertainment industry period. I date “regular” guys too but I think it’s more of the people that I’m around are pretty much in the industry or trying to get into the industry. I’m always at an event or on set so these are the people that I meet. If I’m at the store or out at the mall and a guy who isn’t in the industry wants to talk to me I’m all for it.
6. Are you in a relationship now?
I’m single right now. Hopefully that will change soon. I’m single because me and my ex broke up about a year ago. I threw myself into my business but now, I kind of want someone by my side.
7. If you don’t mind letting us know what would you do and wear to get a guy’s attention that you
want and have you done it and been successful?
If I was to wear a sexy dress out to a club see a guy I thought was attractive and walked up to him the only thoughts that would be going through his head is how to get me out the dress and how I look with the dress off. It’s not what you wear to get a man’s attention it’s what you say to him that gets his attention. Smiling, speaking in a seductive tone and eye contact. Works every time!
8. What can you say is the best thing about your look that keeps on getting you these jobs as a sex
figure?
It’s a lot of sexy girls with a nice rack, sexy body and some of them are even pretty. I know in this industry it’s a million girls that dream of making it but you have to be easy to work with. People need to enjoy working with you. I think I have that reputation that I’m cool, down to earth girl, I take direction well and I’m easy to work with. I’ve heard of girls being stuck up or being a diva on set. To me that just makes you as a model look bad.
9. What part of your body is your favorite?
My favorite party of my body would be my face and my boobs. My face is age less. I have a baby face mixed with the girl next door look and my boobs are beautiful.
10. When you are dating what’s the best thing a guy can say to you that will help him get closer?
Hmmmm…. I’m not big on words. Actions speak louder. Something a guy could do to help him get closer is if he says something, just back it up with actions. That shows me your 1. HONEST and 2. DEPENDABLE and those are some of the qualities that a woman should look for in a man.
11. When he says it do you think he can get a kiss on the first date or you don’t do that ?
I don’t like a guy to ask for a kiss. That’s corny to me. He should be confident in his self, our chemistry (if any) and our date to know if he should go in for a kiss or not. He should also be able to pick up on my body language to know if I want to go there with him. For a kiss that is.
12. Give us your sexiest evening that you had with a guy so that we all know what we have to top if
we ever get that chance?
My sexiest evening with a guy was when I lived in Las Vegas. We went out to dinner. Then a group of us went to the club, popped a few bottles, danced a bit. After the club we went back to the room got in the Jacuzzi tub with some champagne and strawberries …. You can imagine what happened the rest of night.
